TerminalHire is a job and bounty board that lives where developers already work — the terminal — and where posting happens through your coding agent instead of a web form.

If you have work to hand off, you connect TerminalHire to Claude Code, Cursor or Codex as an MCP server and tell it what you want. The agent reads the repo, drafts the brief, and picks which files to share with whoever takes the job. You review that draft and approve it before any developer sees it. You save a card when you set up and are charged only when you accept finished work.

On the developer side, matching runs locally: the CLI pulls a job index and ranks it against your profile on your own machine, so the profile never crosses the wire.

What I learned building it: the hard part of an agent-first product isn't the model, it's consent. Anything an agent does on your behalf needs one place where a human still says yes.
